Hi, I’m Niki
I’m a Cardiff-based filmmaker and actor.
I make films about hungry-for-life outcasts determined to make it in a world not made for them.
I prefer asking questions to making statements.
CURRENT PROJECTS
- Short father-daughter drama, “Runaway“, currently on the festival circuit. Filmed in February 2026.
- Short comedy-drama “The Man In The Mask“, in pre-production. (as producer)
- Short drama-horror, “Starved“, in development. (as writer-director)
- Short Czech/Welsh folktale horror, “Underneath“, in development. (as writer-director)
I’m slowly re-entering the world of film after an extended period away from the industry.
In the autumn of 2024 I was lucky enough to have a project shortlisted for Ffilm Cymru’s Beacons: Short Film Funding scheme (as writer & director, produced by Matt Ashwell from Coup the Duke) and I’ve been consistently developing ideas and growing my network since.
If I’m not working on a creative project you’ll probably find me on some sort of a trail run, covered in mud, giggling like a lunatic…
