Hi, I’m Niki.
Czech-born Cardiff-based writer & director and actor occasionally doubling in music.
Telling stories that challenge people to think and on occasion make them change their minds is what my work is all about.
Outside of writing and directing I have experience in sound design, photography and teaching. These skills, along with the ones I’ve acquired through my day job in marketing, have proven invaluable in navigating projects as a writer & director.
If I’m not working on a creative project you’ll probably find me on some sort of a crazy trail run, covered in mud, giggling like a lunatic.

Current projects:
– Short drama “Starved” in pre-production, filming in autumn 2025. Shortlisted for Film Cymru’s Beacons 2024 scheme. Produced in association with Coup the Duke.
– Short comedy “Till Death Do Us Part?” in development.
– Short post-apocalyptic Czech-Welsh language dramedy “Underneath” in development.
– Concept album “Chapters From The Green Book” – demos in the making.
